Congregation B’nai Abraham is a small but vibrant synagogue with a long history, going back over 135 years. It is the only synagogue in Washington County, Maryland, and serves congregants from nearby West Virginia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
If you are interested in visiting us, or attending a service, please join us on Friday at 7:30 PM. You’ll find a warm community with members young and old celebrating Shabbat with song and prayer, followed by a Oneg Shabbat with light refreshments.
Our service is a slightly traditional Reform Jewish one. Our Rabbi Cantor Perman offers spiritual guidance as well as chanting and song-leading.
